Started in the Computer Graphics field in the eighties, right after earning his degree in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from the University of Buenos Aires. At a time when the Computer Graphics in films where scarce, he earned one of his first credits for the movie "Highlander II". He worked in the main post houses in Buenos Aires, doing effects and animation for several documentaries and commercials. In 1996, after accepting a job offer from Industrial Light and Magic, he moved to Marin County (California) and started to work in the Industrial Light+Magic's Commercials Production Group. He worked as a CG artist there and also supervised several commercials, most of them Clio winners. (i.e. Gatorade "Raptor vs Raptor" or Budweiser "Coming Home" among others) At the same time he worked on features as a Technical Director and Supervisor in other films done at ILM. He has credits in the three films of the Star Wars prequel saga: "Episode I: The Phantom menace", "EpisodeII: Attack of the clones" and "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith". His work is also credited in other films like "Terminator III: Raise of the machines", "Masters and Commanders: The Far Side of the World", "The Day after Tomorrow", "War of the Worlds", "The Island", "Mission Impossible III" and "Pirates2: Dead Man's chest" among others.
