Born in Albuquerque, NM, Kim Trujillo earned her Bachelor's degree from New Mexico State University in Journalism and Mass Communications. She began her career as a radio disc-jockey, newspaper type-setter and TV News reporter/anchor. She earned a fellowship in Washington, DC through the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute and is a proud mother of two. She's held employment as a Fortune 500 company spokesperson, pharmaceutical salesperson, and most recently as a costume designer in New Mexico. She's been featured on several international and local commercials including: Ancestry.com; and Vote4Energy. The highlight of Kim's costuming career has been working on the set of The Mule with Clint Eastwood. Her first speaking role was as a TV-reporter in Unspeakable starring the late, Dennis Hopper. Her interest in costuming actors may have been sparked by her first experience doing back-ground acting in Fools Rush In, when she (against the rules) adjusted Salma Hayak's (then an unknown actress) bra strap on set.
