At the age of 9 attended an open casting call for the acclaimed TV movie "The Boys of St. Vincent", a true account of a Canadian priesthood that molested young boys. After rigorous auditions and up for the lead role, David beat out over 600 others and was given the role as one of the 12 main boys. Grounding himself in Montreal at 18 after shuffling around through his parents divorce at 11, he got an apartment with his older brother of 2 years and started studying acting in Montreal instead of going to college. After 5 years of training David made the decision to get on a bus and head to Los Angeles. First break came 1 year later on the show "The Ghost Whisperer" then snowballed into other highly rated TV shows. David then got the opportunity and landed a role on the new hit show "Justice" playing opposite Jane Seymour as her son.
