Tamlin Hall is a writer, director, actor, and producer. His first independent feature film "Holden On" garnered national acclaim for its authentic depiction of mental illness and addiction. He is co-writing the screenplay adaptation to the astonishing and inspirational #1 New York Times bestselling book A Child Called "It" based on a true story about one child's unyielding courage for survival. The book has sold over 10 million copies. His new uplifting documentary series, Hope Givers, will release on Georgia Public Broadcasting & PBS LearningMedia (2021). Hall graduated from the renowned UCLA School of Theatre, Film, & Television MFA Screenwriting Program, where he was a HUMANITAS Prize winner for television writing. He is part time screenwriting faculty at the University of Georgia and writing instructor at Emory Continuing Education.
