Rebecca Pauline Johnson grew up in the Seattle area, and first became interested in films with her mother, and later took a job as a projectionist. Rebecca has always loved capturing her friends and family on film, but has only recently begun her professional career as a filmmaker. She was also cast in a role in the 2004 Seattle production Far too Gone. After earning her first credit, she went on to Direct her first film, Candy Apple Red, her second film short "a subtitled ending".
