Matthew von Manahan is an American comedy writer/director with experience in short films, feature films , and commercials. His unique voice focuses around eccentric characters in absurd situations. Originally from Buck County, PA, Matthew is a graduate of the highly selective Florida State University Film School. In 2002, Matthew was the youngest student in the school's history to be a finalist in the Coca-cola refreshing filmmaker award. The 50 second short "Prometheus Rebound" ranked 2nd nationally. After graduating college, in 2003 Matthew returned to his hometown where he spent the next five years taking his passion project "The Book of Caleb" which starred Paul Gleason and Mackenzie Firgens.
