Thais Albert

Born Thais Carmen Woodville Albert, she is now known professionally by Tai Carmen. She studied writing & literature at USCB, from which she graduated in 2002. She has one album out with the group, Sugar in Wartime. She has also published a book of poems, "Pollen," to positive critical response. Carmen lives with her husband in Portland, Oregon.
