John Dolmayan

Born July 15, 1973 of Armenian heritage, in Lebanon, John Dolmayan has been one of the most influential drummers in the music business. His parents decided to move to Toronto and then to Los Angeles, where he became the drummer for heavy-metal band System of a Down. Along with the band, he successfully recorded the albums System of a Down, Toxicity, Steal This Album, and Mesmerize. With his unique technique in playing drums, critics and audience agree that System of a Down wouldn't ever be the same without him.
