As a baby, Osmanski was flown halfway around the world to meet her adoptive parents. Growing up in Olympia, Washington, she loved writing plays but never thought about being in them. After graduating from Principia College in three years with a degree in Creative Writing and Studio Art, Osmanski began a career as a graphic designer. After a year in Boston, she married her college sweetheart, and the two relocated to San Francisco. After seeing a notice for auditions for a local production of "Our Town," she auditioned for the play and was cast in the lead role. Osmanski received her MFA from UC San Diego, one of the top three professional actor training programs in the country. Her professional theater experience includes the San Jose Repertory productions of "The Matchmaker," "Major Barbara" and "Red Ladder," the San Jose Repertory Theatre production of "Be Aggressive," and Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum's productions of "Lily Plants a Garden" and "The Unbearable Truth," as well as A Noise Within's production of "Romeo and Juliet." After relocating to Los Angeles, Osmanski has worked steadily in theater, television and film, booking commercials as well as lead roles in small, independent films. Osmanski also puts her English degree to good use by tutoring students for the ISEE and the SAT.
