Nick DeSimone

Nick DeSimone was born and raised in New York City and is extremely fortunate to have grown up surrounded by wonderfully colorful and charismatic characters, in an atmosphere of masterful story telling. Early on, his creativity manifested itself in music, becoming an accomplished drummer, piano player and composer. Feeling compelled to become an actor, after earning his B.A. Degree at The New School, Nick began serious and rigorous training, studying at some of New York's top theatre schools, such as The Neighborhood Playhouse, Herbert Berghof Studio, and Stetson Studio. It didn't take long for his professional acting career to take off, initially honing his skills with an impressive body of work in New York theatre, then spreading out into film, and has been working ever since. Nick, a dual citizen of the U.S. and Italy, is also a writer and filmmaker, and has recently finished his first film,Two Boroughs (2013) and is in preproduction for his second 'Written & Directed by" film, The Drum Set.
