Raised between Buckinghamshire and Bucharest, Camilla trained at Central School of Speech & Drama (London) and Atelier Raymond-Girard (Paris). An avid linguist, Camilla is mother tongue British and has worked fluently in French, Italian, German and Spanish to date, with experience working in Romanian, Portuguese, Swiss German, Sanskrit, Russian, Catalan, Thai and Basque. On screen, Camilla can be seen in British TV comedy Let Them Eat Cake and starring in US/Catalan thriller/horror feature Escape from Marwin, already released in Spain and Japan. She was also recently seen in the British Sci-Fi short, Argot, playing a role in Italian and Spanish. Other screen work includes the role of Dr Emile Leger in Paris-set US FOX TV crime series Jo, opposite Jean Reno, and the darkly comic In The Mix under the direction of Denis Lawson, which premiered at the London BFI. Camilla was delighted to be actor/musician/composer in a recent new London stage adaptation of Lorca's Blood Wedding, directed by George Richmond-Scott (Associate Director on hit London West-End musical Everyone's Talking About Jamie). Camilla is now co-creating a sitcom with her sister (author and comedy writer Lorelei Mathias), in which she plays a central role - the early pilot stages can be found via @SueFennelsBaggage on Instagram and Facebook. Favourite stage appearances include contemporary opera Photo Me at the Riverside Studios, David Wood's The Witches at the Wyndham's West End with Ruby Wax; and the central role of Sobrana, a part written for Camilla in Marco Ghelardi's award-winning Italian-language production of Di Come Savona Ebbe Il Suo Teatro.
