Kristofer Allen Rommel is a producer and director known for Road Signs: The Movie (2001), Someday I Suppose (2005) & Balance (2011). He studied theatre in college, but transitioned to film & video production after graduation. While pursuing his degree Kristofer and college friend Bob Rogers founded The Bob Rogers Group, a production company that produced one-act plays and short films & videos. Soon after graduation Kristofer directed his first feature film "Road Signs: The Movie", which screened at several festivals to modest acclaim. In 2002 The Bob Rogers Group split into two entities; CTH Video Productions, which produced live event and commercial productions, and Virginia Pictures, which produced independent films. Over the next decade Kristofer went on to produce & direct numerous commercial, industrial and live event productions as well as over a dozen films. In 2008 Kristofer & his wife Ashley (who also produced his productions) founded The Derby City Film Festival, an international independent film festival held yearly in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2012 Kristofer retired from film & video production and he and Ashley relocated to Japan to pursue other creative interests.
