Jazzë Lewis

Jazzë Lewis born Jasmine Amanda Lewis was born September 8th, 1992 in Alexandria, Virginia. Raised in College Park, Georgia, Jazzë is a Stage, Film and Television Actress, Writer, Dancer and Singer. Jazzë attended Tri-Cities High School in East Point, Georgia training under David Koté and Freddie Hendricks. She got her name Jazzë in high school from her fellow classmates. There were a lot of Jasmine's in her school and even in the world but there is only one Jazzë. She later went to Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she trained in Musical Theatre. She later graduated from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia with her BFA in Theatre. Majority of Jazzë's credits come from her theatre performances. Some of her stage credits include "West Side Story" (Anita), "The Wiz" (Glinda), "The Spitfire Grill" (Hannah), and "All Shook Up" (Sylvia) to name a few. She can also be seen in film projects such as "Laying my Past to Rest" (2010) and "Mr. McCuddlers" a short film produced by Gail Tassell set to release in 2019. Jazzë has been involved in the arts since she was a child and has always wanted to perform and inspire others to follow their dreams. From musicals and plays, dance showcases and other various performances, Jazzë has always had a passion for the arts. She was blessed with the opportunity to perform along side Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley at the Shuler Hensley Awards 2011 at the Cobb Energy Center. Jazzë wants to be the change that she wants to see in the world and she also believes in the use and the power of the performing arts to change lives. When Jazzë is not working hard at her craft, she can be found reading a good book with a hot cup of tea, working on her organization Black Women Read, an online interactive social media book club created to encourage black women to read for knowledge, developing the mind and to unwind, watching and studying movies and shows on TV, Hulu and Netflix, inspiring others around her to take care of their mind, body and spirit and painting in her spare time. She in the process of writing her own book and TV series and is excited to get her project up and running and to also create opportunities for other actors such as herself.
