Writer and director of a handful of critically acclaimed short films including thriller Virus, which screened at more than 50 international film festivals, picking up a clutch of awards along the way, and the comedy Tumshie McFadgen's Bid for Ultimate Bliss, which won the BAFTA Scotland award for best short film. Writer and director of the dark thriller Senseless. It premiered at Sitges and went on to be nominated for Best British Feature at Raindance. Around that time he also directed the award winning documentary Arts: The Catalyst.
