Stefan Gural was raised in Sterling, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. Stefan is one of four children with an older sister, a younger sister and brother. At a young age, he enjoyed going to see movies with his family, where he first developed his fascination and love of them. His family was always amazed by his way to repeat lines of dialogue from said movies almost verbatim once they were over. Stefan first discovered his love of acting when he took acting classes in high school. He auditioned for his first high school stage production his sophomore year and went on to appear in every show all the way to the end of his senior year. After graduating high school, he went to college to study acting. There, he continued to audition and work in theater, appearing in a few shows on campus, as well as making a few short films. After three years, he left college to pursue acting opportunities in stage and film. After leaving college, Stefan searched for acting work and landed his first role as the supporting male lead in the indie film Dead on Delmarva in 2010. Then in 2011, Stefan wrote his first screenplay based on William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. His good friend, Anthony Newen, liked the script and asked to direct the project, named Family Bonds (2012). The film was co-produced by both Stefan and Tony with Stefan even appearing in the film in a minor supporting role. In June 2012, Stefan moved to Los Angeles with his three friends: Connor Smith, Emma Earnest, and Anthony Newen to pursue a career in the filmmaking industry.
