Known for his versatility and commanding presence laced with comedic turns, 7-time Emmy-winning actor and spokesperson Rich Skidmore flourished as a TV news investigative journalist long before he took to the stage and screen. His 15 years spent digging for details in newsrooms proved to be invaluable training for his career investigating a broad spectrum of acting roles. Richard Morgan Skidmore was born in Pittsburgh. earned his BA in Journalism from The Ohio State University and an Honorable Discharge from the US Marine Corps. While working as the "3 On Your Side" guy for KTVK-3TV in Phoenix by day, Rich launched his acting career, landing the lead role of Paul Bratter in Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park", which he rehearsed by night.
