Rick S. Mordecon is a graduate of the University of Virginia. He has been a Writer, Director and Producer for over 14 years. In that time he has written 8 screenplays, 4 stage plays, and 3 scripted series with producing partner Joseph Harrington and just published his first novel, "The Process of Forgetting". He has also directed and produced a variety of projects including live concert events for Ashford and Simpson as well as features and television specials for Jennifer Lopez, Jay-Z, Maya Angelou, Ludacris, The Def Poets, and DMX. He has worked extensively as a music video director and producer creating music videos for Ghostface Killah, Def Poet Black Ice, Beanie Sigal, Helmet, DMX and British duo Orbital. His video for RUN, Ghostface Killah's hit single was recently voted #68 of the best 100 videos of the last 10 years by Complex magazine. Rick has directed numerous stage plays including Kevin Cunningham's "Automatic Earth" at Signature Theatre, staged readings of his own play "Sun Under Earth" also at Signature Theatre as well as "Porno" at the Ohio Space, "Life in Limbo" at Epic Rep, Kevin Sessums "Blue Suede Gospel" at Here among a few. He has produced and directed docs for Robert F Kennedy Jr, The New England Aquarium, LL.Cool J and legal pioneer Eleanor Jackson Piel. He co-produced episodes of DMX's television series, "Soul of a Man" and produced, directed and edited "I Am What I Am", and "Ballroom 2.0" for PBS' news magazine "In The Life". Other producing credits include "Ushers Project Restart" to aid victims of the Katrina and Rita disasters for BET, "Jay-Z-Fade to Black" for Universal and national spots for clothing manufacturer Etienne Aigner, Merck and Subway. In 2008 he formed his new production company with producing partner Joe Harrington called TerraHouse Productions. TerraHouse is currently developing 2 scripted series, Pharaoh and Offworld. Rick's feature film 16 BARS is now in Post-production
