Beka was born in the North Philadelphia, PA in 1977. She is of Northern Italian, Irish, German, Danish and Swedish descent. She expressed interest in the arts at a very young age, starting with playing piano (untrained) and later progressed onto violin at age 5 and later electric guitar at 19. Due to an unfortunate loss of her father to cancer in 1978, she lived with her biological mother until the age of 7 1/2 when she was put in foster homes until the age of 18. During that time, she further pursued her interests in the performing arts by participating in school plays. At age 15, she participated in her High School's production of Brigadoon as stage crew and also was a part of the volunteer stage crew for the York Little Theatre, York, PA. At 17, she attended a six-week improvisation course at the Lititz Little Theater House, in Lititz, PA. Her main passion has been music and after release from the foster care system, she went on to pursue her musical interests. At 19 she obtained her first electric guitar and recorded a professional demo at Skylab Studios, NYC, as a singer, songwriter and composer. With her efforts, she was able to have her "Winners are Losers too" song played on college radio which earned her recognition from ASCAP. Beka picked up acting gigs as an Extra when available and was a music promoter in 2005. Beka had also done some modeling and she was a mobile disc jockey from 1999 until 2006 when she went on to pursue her university degree in IT Tech. She moved to Las Vegas in 2007 to continue her education and continued her talent prospects as an extra in national network television shows. Beka continues her education and aspires to return to pursuing her musical and talent interests in the near future.
