Jeffrey McLeid

Jeffrey McLeid, was born April 5, 1985 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to parents Robert and Theresa McLeid. Theresa being a homemaker and Robert serving as a flight engineer in the United States Air Force they shortly (1987) moved to New Albany, Indiana, Robert and Theresa's home town. Years later at age 13 Jeffrey started doing hair modeling work Paul Mitchell, Crew, and Matrix. He spent time in his off summers traveling with these select companies promoting their products. Three years later Jeffrey discovered his passion of being behind the camera instead of in front of it. At age 16 he sat down to make his, what he called, "improve film". Everything from start to finish was completely done on the spot; no script, no ideas, just three props a video camera and five actors. After a night of filming, and a day of editing, "The Package" became his calling card and was the start of a relationship with director Christopher D Grace. After the production of "The Package", everything started to pick up from there. Now living in Georgetown, Indiana, across the river from Louisville, Kentucky, he serves as Key Grip and Director of Photography on local productions, and taking very few, but some acting roles. Jeffrey has done over 35 productions in the course of five years and thrives to do more. In 2006 he started his own production company, Worthless Wings Entertainment, naming it after his girlfriends love of penguins and them not being able to fly.
