Brian Sheridan was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 6, 1978. His first acting work came in high school at Cascade High in Everett, Washington, where he also began his stunt and fight work with "The Fantasticks." He continued acting and got his first professional stage combat training during his freshman year of college while attending Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. Utilizing both these skills and the martial-arts he'd trained in, he choreographed several fights for the school's student film-festival, earning the award for Best Fight Choreography in 1999 (The Fat Man and little boy II: Mad Max's Revenge) and was nominated for the same award the following year (The Fat Man and little boy III: Revelations). After college Brian took some time away from the stage and screen, spending a year in Japan where he studied martial arts before returning to Walla Walla where he partner up with Tiffany Sinclair to start their film company carSINogenic candy productions. They worked together on an unfinished project entitled A Day in the Life before creating Praey - their breakthrough feature. His performance in Praey brought him to the attention of several companies, notably One-Shot Productions and Midnight Sun Entertainment, which earned him roles in their films Take-Away Sprit and Exile, respectively. Since Exile he has returned to the stage and has acted in several shows with the Little Theatre of Walla Walla, as well as continuing fight-choreography for the Little Theatre and Walla Walla University. In 2009 he directed his first play, for the One-Act Play Festival at the Little Theatre of Walla Walla. Brian has trained in several martial-arts over the course of his life, starting with Shito-Ryu Karate as a child, while in college he practiced Hung-Gar Kung-Fu. After graduation he studied Tokai Federation Aikido while living in Japan, then practiced Shudokan Karate after returning to the US. He holds a second-degree black-belt in Shudokan Karate, and is currently boxing and practicing Shindo-Jinen Ryu Karate. He is practiced in broadsword and quarterstaff combat, western-style fencing (both single blade and rapier-and-dagger), and also trained in the use of Katana, Bo Staff, Kaibo (oar), Sai, and Nunchaku. When not acting he maintains his love of the arts by turning to writing, and has produced several scripts for the online sketch-comedy show Three Drunk Trolls TV, while also writing novels and comics.
