Armed with just a home video camera and his neighborhood friends his living room became his first stage. Bit by the acting bug and a passion for the arts, Prince Kareem studied under W. Allen Taylor and was soon led to the Berkeley Black Rep. Theatre where he chiseled and polished himself performing in plays. Stepping out on the power of prayer along with a leap of faith Prince Kareem moved to the Los Angeles to pursue his passion. Appearing in soon to be released films such as "I Got What U Want", "Mark 8:36", short film "Bathsheba", and recently "Vapors" where he portrayed Earnest, a young aspiring teacher who wanted to make a difference in the inner city but not by playing sports or being a rapper. In addition to his film career Prince is also proud of appearing in and producing along with director Bobby Mardis " Beats By The Bay" the first film of a documentary series that was featured in the Hollywood Black Film festival as well as the San Francisco Black Film Festival, and focused on independent bay area hip hop artists, there social consciousness, and the step by step know how of becoming a successful independent artist.
