Stephen Whitson was born in Edinburgh and trained at The Arts Educational Schools, London. During a career which has seen him direct productions in the UK and Internationally he is best know for directing 'Diary of a CEO Live' (Albert Hall, Manchester), the live version of Steven Bartlett's hit podcast featuring the House Gospel Choir and 'West Side Story' at the BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall and the Edinburgh International Festival, Usher Hall. In London's West End he has directed 'Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens' (Criterion Theatre) and 'Cat The Play' (Ambassadors Theatre). He is the Associate Director of the West End productions of 'Hamilton' and 'Moulin Rouge'.
