Jennifer Peralta-Ajemian is a casting director and filmmaker with 19+ years experience in the entertainment field. She is a former ballet dancer of thirteen years, and a protégé of Maggie Black, Kim Abel, and Simon Dow. From 2004 - 2013 Jennifer worked at talent agencies Henderson Hogan and CESD, and assisted casting directors Avy Kaufman, Bernard Telsey, Cindy Tolan, and Liz Lewis on numerous film, theatre, and commercial productions. In 2014, she created JPA to help historically underrepresented voices to amplify their stories. Her work has been recognized by many, including the Academy of Arts & Sciences, the Austin Film Festival, SXSW, and Tribeca. She has been a Jury Member for the Socially Relevant and Burbank International Film Festivals, and has participated on diversity and inclusion panels for Glass Elevator, Film Fatales, and the Globescreen Conference. She was the casting director of FEELING THROUGH, which was a 2021 Oscar Nominee for Best Live Action Short Film.
