British native, Rachel Reed was born to Anthony John Parrott and Delia Karen Reed in the home county of Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Rachel was always captivated by storytelling; Her first memory is that of her second cousin Oliver Reed and his moving performance in the 1968 British musical drama film, directed by Carol Reed. Wafer-thin and fiery-eyed, this tall, freckled, strawberry blonde felt most at home in the theatre. Rachel never grew out of playing "make-believe", devising plays for her friends and family to watch and then adapting and directing fairy tales in which her younger Reed cousins performed. Rachel is the middle child of three daughters and her imagination and depth of emotion often got her into trouble at home, alienating her from her well mannered, more reserved, sisters until the sudden death of her father, at age 15 that brought a deep bond out of this tragic event. Rachel threw herself even deeper into the world of storytelling, the stage becoming a kind of refuge for her grieving soul. Her days spent in public school and her nights training in the craft, performing in plays, competing in theatre festivals and reading the poetry of the romantics. At 19 years old, after traveling with a theatre company around the UK and Ireland for a year, Rachel made the pilgrimage back to her father's native city and was awarded a full scholarship to be classically trained at well renowned UK drama school, Guildford School of Acting. After graduating, Rachel was quickly cast in television roles, booked for numerous modeling jobs and had the honor of performing for HRH Queen Elizabeth II before crossing the ocean and immigrating to the States. In the summer of 2019, Rachel was discovered and signed by Chris Roe Management and continues to train and work in both London and Los Angeles as an actor in theatre, on-screen and as a voice-over talent.
