Kelby was born and raised in Massachusetts, growing up in Sudbury (where he developed a rivalry* with schoolmate Chris Evans. Chris is currently winning this rivalry. Decisively. Kelby received his acting training at the Trinity Repertory Theater in Providence, RI as part of the Brown University master of fine arts program in theater studies.
