Eda Benjakul

Eda Benjakul is an Emmy award winning director/producer, most known for non-fiction and branded content. As a kid growing up in Chicago, she worked at her parents' restaurant; one of the first Thai restaurants in the city and first ethnic mom + pop restaurant to be named to the Chicago Tribune's Top Ten Restaurant list. She has combined her interest in food and television, producing food competition and directing lifestyle, and social impact documentaries about food and culture. She creates in traditional television and digital content, and has been part of the launch team of tech start-ups; IZ.com and ReplayTV (where commerce and content meet); and KIN Eats; one of YouTube's first premium channels. Eda is a member of the Directors Guild of America, Producers Guild of America and Television Academy. Eda is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
