Wayne Byrne

An Irish born actor with 20+ years of drama studies behind him. Having entered drama studies in his teens with Dublin Youth Theatre , The Gaiety School of Acting and Bow Street Film Academy Training over a number of years. Having both Film and Theatre credits to his name he continues to study all forms of performance of the art including martial arts. In 2019 he scooped BEST ACTOR wards for his lead role in "PODGE" at the Bedford International Film Festival, Virginia USA and Spookscreen Film Festival in Cork Ireland respectively. Wayne is represented by Sarah Allen Clarke at Althea Agency in Dublin. 2020 seen the completion of a hard hitting drama on the conflict in Ireland in the 1970s & 1980s due for cinematic release in 2021 in which he portrays a leading role as a prominent republican character.
