Sloppy Seconds are a delightfully wacky and irreverent tongue-in-cheek punk band from Indianapolis, Indiana. The group was first formed at a party in 1985. The original members were: B.A. (vocals), Steve Sloppy (drums), Dr. Roadkill (guitars), and Bo'Ba Jam (bass). The key distinguishing hallmarks of the rowdy quartet's raucous music are a blithely vulgar attitude, raw and simple, yet still melodic stripped-down three-chord arrangements, and, most of all, a hilariously rude'n'crude sense of no-holds-barred raunchy humor. The band's songs include such choice trashy tunes as "I Don't Wanna Be a Homosexual," "Come Back, Traci" (a heartfelt ode to underage 80's porno starlet Traci Lords), "Janie Is a Nazi," "Horror of Party Beach," "I Want 'Em Dead," "You Got a Great Body, But Your Record Collection Sucks," and "Let's Kill the Trendy." Sloppy Seconds released their debut EP in 1987. This was followed by their first full-length album "Destroyed" in 1990. Sloppy Seconds appear as themselves in the Western movie "It Came from Trafalgar" and the music video compilation "PBS: Punk Broadcasting System." They contributed two songs to the soundtrack of the indie fright flick "Sick Girl." Sloppy Seconds released their latest album "Endless Bummer" in 2008.
