Kendyl Bell is the daughter of Chanda Bell, co author of The Elf on the Shelf series, and Murry Bell. Her foray into acting was an accident. When voicing the scratch track for his mom's short animated film Elf Pets: Santa's St Bernards Save Christmas, she won the producer team over with her youthful enthusiasm and was asked to play the part. Her small screen debut was made in November of 2018 when she voiced the character "Kendyl" who was originally based on her.
