Anna Christopher grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois, writing stories and riding horses. She attended Northwestern University where she made her first films and later received an MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute. Christopher's shorts have screened at film festivals worldwide including the Cannes Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, Heartland Film Festival and NBC Universal Comedy Short Cuts. Her work has won a student Emmy, numerous audience awards, and Best Family Pilot at The New York Television Festival. In 2010, Anna completed "Appointment in Vancouver," a documentary following Olympic skier Casey Puckett to the Vancouver Games. Anna is writing feature screenplays while pursuing her feature directing debut of her own adaptation of Sloppy Firsts, the beloved first novel in Megan McCafferty's New York Times best-selling young adult series.
