Janelle Marie Rodriguez is a South Florida native who began her career at a young age, making regular television appearances and her acting debut on Michael Bay's TNT's series The Last Ship. She's also seen on NCIS:LA and NBC's Constantine. Throughout her career as a DISNEY CHANNEL Movie Surfer, she has interviewed many high-profile celebrities, including Steven Spielberg, Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana. She was nominated as Best Actress in a Webseries at The Official Latino Short Film Festival for her work on the digital network Flama, and was recognized as the first Latina to host MONSTER JAM in the U.S. Rodriguez since 2019 is a bilingual co-host on ESPNS NOW OR NEVER and Host of ESPNs SPORTS CENTER on SNAPCHAT show. Paving the way for young Latinas in Sports. On her spare time Rodriguez gives back to her community by using her platform to speak on Mental Health Awarness, where she has created an IGTV series called #Checkinthursdays to inform and break mental health stigmas.
