The movie "The First Parting", with Chen Fei as co-producer, directed by Wang Lina, and starring Aisa Yasen and Kelly Binuer Rehemituri, won the Best Award in the Asian Future Unit of the 31st Tokyo International Film Festival, the Best Film Award of the International Jury in the New Generation Unit of the 69th Berlin Film Festival, and the Best Chinese Film in the New Talent Film Competition Unit of the 43rd Hong Kong International Film Festival (Firebird Award). The animation "Journey to the West," for which Chen Fei served as the chief producer, and the original comics Zheng Jianhe and Deng Zhihui, directed by Zhong Zhixing, won the Bronze Award for Best Series Animation at the 15th China Animation Golden Dragon Award.
