Cindy Better is an Spanish Colombian actress and TV Host, born in Barranquilla-Colombia and raised in Torrevieja-Spain. Her love for the performing arts started at a very young age, Cindy would stand in front of the TV singing and dancing as she imitated some of the greatest stars of the time. At the age of 12 she decides she wants to be an actress and TV Host, which she told he mother Sonia, a single mother who always supports her dreams. The only way Cindy had access to study theater in her small town was at the municipal theater, where they held workshops for young actors. When she went to register, she was told that she had to be at least 14 years old, therefore she patiently waited for two years and the day after she turned 14 she knocked on the theaters door and told the director: " I am 14 years old, I waited two years, I want to be an actress and I am here to register". A short time thereafter Cindy was working and performing in theater alongside a professional and advance cast in Theater productions in Torrevieja and touring throughout Spain. Her first job was "Life is a Dream", ("La Vida es Sueno") from Calderon de la Barca, she was the youngest actress of the cast, (14 years old). Cindy finished high school at 19 and decided to officially study a career in Musical Dramatic Arts at ESAD (official formation for musical actors in Spain). She later moved to Madrid where she completed her studies in renowned schools such as Corazza, where other internationally renowned actors studied, such as Javier Barem and Penelope Cruz. In order to be able to live and study in Madrid, Cindy worked as a model and hosted protocol events. Cindy participated in Madrid in entertainment programs such as "Asi nos Va" and "El Hormiguero", and was featured in several international videos. At the age of 23 she was selected to host two entertainment programs at ANTENA 3 and LA SEXTA, two of the most important TV Channels in Spain, where she worked for two years. In spite of her rise to success Cindy always wanted to know her roots, therefore at the age of 26 she decided to travel for personal growth to Colombia, leaving behind her work as actress and TV host in Spain embarking in a journey to find herself. It was supposed to be a short trip, however after only 15 days in Colombia, Canal Uno, one of the most respected and controversial local TV Channels hired her as the TV Host for the show Juan's Angeles, (Los Angeles de Juan). She was later selected as a cast member for the "Bellko Experiment", a US production filmed in Colombia and directed by James Gunn (director of Guardians of the Galaxy), working alongside some of the most important US actors. She was later hired to present the entertainment news at RCN Television one of the most prominent Channels in Colombia, where she worked for 2 years. She was also host of "Plant People" (Planeta Gente), an international show of movie and music novelties from NTN24 and appeared on The Law of the Heart (La Ley Del Corazon) one of the most successful series in Colombia as Azucena a recurring character of the series. In search of personal and professional improvement Cindy decides to move to Los Angeles, California where she is studying advanced English and Communication Skills.
