Dion A. Labriola

Dion grew up in Akron, Ohio and studied painting at The Cleveland Institute of Art. He then moved to Chicago to attend The School of the Art Institute, where he studied video. In Chicago, he spent many years as a DJ/VJ at the legendary nightclub, Berlin. He also produced music videos for some local Chicago artists, including Industrial pioneers, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. Dion then moved to Los Angeles and started working as an editor on several cable documentaries including The Universe, Life After People, and Big History. He has also produced music videos for some Los Angeles musicians. Dion now works as a freelance editor and artist and has created illustrations and animation for a variety of projects from indie films to studio productions, including an upcoming Netflix series. He has also been known to build a muppet or two in his spare time.
