Benny Mitchell

Benny Mitchell has appeared in several professional theater productions, including Mary Poppins at The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati (Michael Banks) and A Christmas Carol (Boy Scrooge) at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park; met his demise in the short film Gate of Dawn, which won a Platinum award at the Houston International Film Fest and an award of Excellence at the Best Shorts Competition; received Cappies nominations for Best Comic Actor (Cinderella) and Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Legally Blonde); and, most recently, started a travelling theatre company called Backyard Broadway Live, LLC. Benny will continue his theatrical journey at Denison where he plans to double major in Theater and Data & Analytics.
