Jessica Boss is an American actress of Nigerian descent. In high school, she studied medicine in hopes to become a medical doctor. In the eleventh grade, she had two elective options: art or theater. Because she only had the ability to draw stick figures, she decided to take theater, and to her surprise, fell in love with it! Her teacher encouraged her to keep working hard because he saw a spark. That spark soon turned into a decision to quit medicine and pursue a career in acting. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Jessica moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional career as an actress. She won "Best Actress" in the feature film, "Anonymous 616," which won over seven awards in various film festivals. Jessica is an advocate who fights against sex trafficking, which inspired her to develop an original work called, "Unnamed," a feature film about a happy, but poor Nigerian hairstylist who is promised a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work in America, only to be tricked and lured into the dark, ugly world of sex trafficking.
