Cornel Poenaru is a Romanian film and theatre actor .He was born on June 5, 1942 in Bucuresti, Romania .He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1966. In 1967, he plays first role in the movie Diminetile unui baiat cuminte. Known for films Fratii Jderi (1974), Burebista(1980) and Ultimul cartus (1973).
