Michael Bentham

Michael is a writer and director known for Disclosure (2020). The film was nominated for an Australian Academy AACTA Award (Best Indie Film) an Australian Directors' Guild Award (Best Direction in a Feature Film), and won the ATOM Award for Best Fiction Feature Film. Michael was born in Zurich, Switzerland, and grew up in the Midlands, UK. He was encouraged to play musical instruments from a young age, and went on to study viola at the Guildhall School of Music, and composition under Jonathan Harvey. He was a member of Colin Young's last cohort at the UK's National Film and Television School, where he specialised in directing narrative fiction.
