Born in 1978, in Belgrade, State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, Marko Malic spent his childhood years in his homeland and in Iraq before settling down at age 6, in Lausanne, Switzerland. Since childhood, he has had an innate talent for effortlessly taking on roles to amuse friends and infuriate authoritarian figures. After successfully completing a business degree, he steered his career towards his true passion and began multilingual training and theater work on various projects in Geneva, London and Paris, as well as in New York. A few years later, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue further intensive training and to develop his skills working in underground films. 2005 was the year where things began to dramatically accelerate with two demanding lead roles requiring a De Niro/Bale-like bodily transformation from an anorexic 65kg (Oliver in Susan Vile's "Phonecard") to a muscular and intimidating 82kg (Vincenzo in Mauro Ballinari's "Jr. Gang Lord"). His thoroughly dedicated and researched approach to each character has already earned him respect in the industry and he continues to strengthen his experience through challenging and ambitious roles.
