Adam Shapiro

Adam Shapiro has worked in the industry as a producer, writer, and director. He has brought his unique brand of humor and creativity to scripted and unscripted projects on both broadcast and cable networks. Adam is comfortable and prolific in any reality genre. He's been a producer on projects for all of the major broadcast networks, contributing his talents to a variety of programming, including competition reality (AGT, Hell's Kitchen, Live To Dance) talk shows (The Howie Mandel Show), sketch comedy (The Man Show), documentaries (Lucas films"Star Warriors"), entertainment news (TV Guide Channel, EXTRA, E! News), poker shows (Hollywood Hold'Em), and docu-dramas (High Society, Ex-Wives Club). Adam currently serves as Co-Executive Producer on NBC's America's Got Talent. During his tenure on the show, AGT has consistently dominated the ratings for summer alternative programming and is recognized as the most successful reality show format in the entire world. With his extensive experience, and through his development deal with NBC Universal Television, he creates new shows and exclusive formats for the studio as well.
