Joyanta Acharjee

The eldest of three boys, Joyanta Acharjee grew up in Southampton, Hampshire before studying French and German at Royal Holloway, University of London. Spent most of his teenage weekends and a short stint after college waiting tables in an Indian restaurant as well as a short stint as a security guard before landing his first office job with a financial information company. Moved to London in 1999 to work as a financial journalist. Started performing stand-up comedy at open mic nights on the London comedy circuit since 2005.
