Stuart Ellis has voiced a mutated fish who thinks he's a genius, a gaseous dog who's actually a genius, "Life" itself, and many other characters on several of BuzzFeed's beloved animated series, with collective views in the millions. An experienced and trained stage actor (including 6 years of performing improv at UCB NYC), his voiceover career started at the University of Maryland, where he hosted a prime-time music-and-talk show on "The Mighty WMUC." A theatrical career followed, with leading roles in plays and musicals, including Man of La Mancha, Godspell, Rehearsal for Death, Neil Simon's Rumors, The Music Man, and many others. Stuart has also appeared in multiple national and international commercials. An accomplished classical pianist, theatrical director, filmmaker (including the official Tribeca Film Festival selection "Busy Night," which he starred in, wrote, and directed), long-distance cyclist, scuba divemaster, etc. etc...Stuart imbues his characters with breath, intelligence, and soul, informed by the fruits of his lifelong curiosity. He has studied with voiceover masters Richard Horvitz, Charlie Adler, and David Lyerly, legendary vocal coach Bob Marks, Diana Castle's The Imagined Life and, for on-camera work, Christinna Chauncey.
