Coier Amerson was born on September 7, 1976 to Larry Gene Amerson and Janet Ann Amerson in Antioch, California. Soon after his parents separation, he, his mother and 2 older sisters moved to Fresno, Ca where he was raised for the majority of his life by his mother and his stepfather Willie Madison. Coier began writing short stories at age 6 and was excepted into the Gifted and Talented Education (G.A.T.E.) program when he was 7 years old. He would go on to be excepted into the Roosevelt School of the Performing Arts program. As an actor in the program, he received much acclaim and won multiple awards for his on-stage performances. At 15 he wrote his first full length movie script with aspirations to produce it, but could not complete it due to lack of funds and lack of cooperation from friends. After high school, Coier met his wife, Patricia Rivera, with whom he had 2 children, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career as a film maker. Their divorce was finalized in February of 2009. Coier has continued to make a name for himself in the industry and has garnered acclaim for his ability to portray a wide variety of characters. He continues to write and hopes to bring his unique voice to people in a way that will ultimately motivate humanity to a more positive state. His Directing/Writing debut will be seen in the upcoming project "Dope and the Seventh Commandment" which is in post production.
