Jarret C. Egan

Jarret began his film career at the age of 10. As a young surfer and skateboarder, he took his camera and captured his unique experiences. His first short films captured the essence of the culture and allowed Jarret to experiment with new filming techniques. His next natural step was film editing. He hasn't left the cutting room since. Today, he has established himself as a well-rounded seasoned professional film and video editor in the film industry, manning production crew positions, varying from producer, director and camera operator as well as stepping in front of the camera acting in Dale Resteghihni's film The System Within (2006). Jarret's central focus lies in the cutting room, keeping abreast of today's latest post-production equipment and exercising proficiency with the industries cutting-edge software. After numerous short films and his first mini-feature The Tin Man, directed by Paul Savarese, he successfully completed his first feature-length film titled Victoriana, directed by Katka Konecna. He joined the AppiaFilm team in 2006 as an executive producer. In between feature-length productions, Jarret produces and edits music videos, short films and commercials. He is currently in pre-production for Katka Konecna's next feature film, The Helios Plan.
