While there, swam two Ocean Miles in Boca Raton, Fl. Swam from Alcatraz. 1.5 mile swim, from Alcatraz Island to the St. Francis Yacht Club in SF. Yes, with sharks! Lived in Chicago for 4 years. Worked at Gary Sinise's Steppenwolf Theatre Co. Having no car, bicycling was the preferred mode of choice, above 30 degrees! Commuting daily, riding in numerous city sponsored events ranging 15-62 mi/day.
