Years ago Ramon Etman started writing Horizonica. A couple of years passed before the project changed into the enormous project it is today. It started out by putting up a small poster in a bar in Eindhoven to interest people for the movie. In 2002 he formed a Pre-production team to find out how to best start up a movie project. A couple of articles in local papers spawned enthusiasm among people who were very willing to participate and put all their passion into making a movie. In April 2003 the management team was expanded and the project really took off. After several auditions he could add over 90 talented and enthusiastic actors and actresses to his project. Furthermore he formed multiple teams, like a SFX-team, a public relations team, a make up-team, etc. At the end of October 2003 his team started principal photography, which wrapped up in May 2005. Due to the fact they had to work with over 1200 volunteers, there's also over 1200 jobs and studies to plan around. But the enthusiasm that has surrounded them is quite overwhelming. They've shot some cameo appearances with several well known Dutch people and foreigners. One of them is Lloyd Kaufman, movie producer and director from New York who's best knows for his cult classics like "The Toxic Avenger" and "Class of Nuke 'm High". But the Horizonica virus has also infected people like Antonie Kamerling ("Excorcist: The Beginning"), Pierre Wind (Dutch chef) and Henk Westbroek (singer, songwriter, radio DJ). Henk Westbroek even recorded Horizonica's theme-song, for which Ramon's crew made the music video. The drive and enthusiasm of their volunteers made Horizonica's success... In the meantime Ramon is gaining fame as a director and filmmaker. He also worked together with The B-Pro Stunt Team as frequent guest actor and as 2nd unit director.
