Jon originally hails from Baton Rouge, Lousiana after which he hung his hat in Texas, Michigan, New York, and Maryland. Seeing almost all of the U.S. and some places overseas provided an extensive background with people but was not until he relocated back to the South that he found his niche. Siding in with a local theater arts departments like The Flying Monkey Arts and several other local theaters, he found his love for acting, writing, directing, set construction, etc. Helping to promote interesting, new, local, and outside music artists; and producing a new full length play every month for the next three or so years from aid of his comedy troupe Crash, Boom, Bang Theater which is now known as Can't Afford Cable, so long as it is creative and innovative, you can find Jon there. Jon graduated from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL with a BA in Film and Entertainment Business and received many awards ranging from best sound, best direction, and best editing and has worked in every facet of the film industry from concept to final product. From screen-writing, producing, location audio, camera work, acting, editing, post audio, etc. He has held many positions on large and small budget productions and knows how to make it all work. Jon spent many years developing his creative skills in film and took it upon himself to start work on the side at Sound Cell recording studio with local recording legend Doug Smith to learn the ropes of a recording studio and diving deep into the world of post audio production while developing his business. Jon has produced many albums and personal projects and he was able to quickly gain new clients and maintain old ones with his impeccable work ethic and his "get it done attitude" that not only lent to a very trusting and responsive business ethic, but also helped in his development with his clients in building a relationship that helped him better understand what people needed even before they asked for it. Jon was a celebrated alumni among his classmates and was always thought of as a very out of the box thinker with his approach to pretty much anything he touched. Regardless of how "out there" some of his projects are he has become methodical in executing them to their fullest potential regardless of what walls may be in his path. Jon has worked with and alongside some of the greatest in the industry with the likes of Danny Glover, Josh Lucas, Mira Sorvino, Dermot Mulroney, Johnny Depp, Eric Roberts, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Bono, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Etta James, Amanda Bynes, Sara Paxton, Matt Long, etc. He has worked on projects such as Never Back Down, Muscle Shoals, several shows for MTV, and number one rated shows like The Walking Dead and he has produced music for games and short films. Jon is a member in good standing of I.A.T.S.E. and several other film and theater unions in Nashville, Atlanta, etc. Jon's work ethic is not to be compared with his constant development of new and exciting ideas for projects and ways to benefit his community like his Lucky Duck Days project that helps to benefit one new non-profit organization every year for a great cause such as furthering research on diabetes. He still meets with his open source writing team every week trying to develop the next exciting project.
