Melissa Gonzalez

Melissa Gonzalez began her career performing off-off Broadway with the Love Creek Productions theater company. She is a recent graduate of the renowned American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has been keeping busy in front of the camera for both the small screen and feature films. She can be seen weekly on Saturdays co-hosting her second season of BETJ's Latin Beat with radio personality JI Starr of La Mega, featuring artists such as Shakira, Marc Anthony and Juanes, to name a few. Melissa is also starred in the indie feature film Spanglish Girls, for which she is also Producer and is gearing up to begin her second independent feature, A Perfectly Normal Woman, for which she will be an Executive Producer. You can also see her periodically as correspondent for Close Up TV on PAX-TV. Mostly recently she has begun filming the docu-sitcom "Pre-Light Day." She can be seen in past tv appearances like Chappelle's Show, SNL and NBC Pilot NY70. She is also in talks to begin co-hosting a new show for FOXSports entitled "Boxing Preview". Some of Melissa's past film projects include: New York Second and Little Black Book. You may also catch her in various publications such as Latina magazine, Shop Etc. and For Me Magazine. Melissa currently lives in New York City and keeps busy fielding various film and TV projects.
