Alejandro Ramirez Corona

Filmmaker. Born in Mexico City. Graduated from the National School of Film Arts (CUEC-UNAM), Budapest Cinematography Masterclass, and the International Film and TV School in Cuba. In 2009, his short film "Goodbye Garibaldi" was part of the official selection in the 56º San Sebastian Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, São Paulo International Short Film Festival, and La Habana International Film Festival. In 2019, his first feature "Mente Revólver" received several awards, including the Best Movie Gold Alhambra at the Granada Cines del Sur Film Festival, and Best Frontera Feature at the San Diego Latino Film Festival. Also, it was nominated to the Camerimage, International Guadalajara Film Festival, and the Santiago de Compostela Film Festival. Alongside his film director career, Alejandro Ramirez has been DOP in some movies and TV Shows featured by Amazon Prime, Netflix, HBO, Fox, Sony, Coca-Cola TV, and movie theaters around the globe.
