Arnita Williams

Arnita was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee; she developed an interest in entertainment during early childhood. Her parents enrolled her and her younger sister in dance classes which included ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics. Upon entering Junior High School: the formal lessons ceased. However, Arnita continued her dance routine as a pom-pom girl and majorette in High School. Dance wasn't her only love, she dabbled in a little modeling as well. The real sparks ignited when her parents bought their first video camera during her adolescent years. Everyday, Arnita was writing, directing, and filmming skits. She found herself acting at home, school, church and in community plays. Ms. Williams not only possessed artistic talent, but she excelled in academics as well. Arnita was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. She was an editor and writer for the Newspaper Staff, Yearbook Staff, and Literary Magazine. She graduated # 7 in her class with Honors and received a scholarship to the University of Memphis. Arnita studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Memphis and Business Management from Crichton College(Memphis, TN). In her corporate career, Arnita worked for a major medical orthopedics company in Quality Engineering and as a Regulatory Affairs Analyst. Arnita has been fortunate enough to observe and study with some of the finest acting coaches in Memphis and Los Angeles i.e. Ivanna Chubbuck (Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron), Howard Fine, Weist-Barron-Hill, Molli Benson, Mike Pointer, Red West, Melissa Skoff, Lisa Lax, Gary Grubbs, G. Rockett Phillips. In addition, Arnita has worked in producer roles on sets for Major productions including American Idol (Fox Network), BODOG Battle of the Bands(Fuse Network), AOL Goldrush (Internet Gameshow).
